A thirsty crow completing story with bangla meaning

Ans. Once upon a time, a crow became very thirsty. It was summer and the weather was very hot. There was little water in that place. The crow flew here and there looking for water. But it could not find water anywhere. It seems that it was about to die for the thirst of water. But it did not lose heart.

The crow continued its search and found a pitcher to drink water. But there was a little water at the bottom of the pitcher. The crow tried to drink but failed. The water level was too far for the crow’s beak to reach. It tried to find out a good plan. At once it hit upon a plan. It picked up stones one by one and dropped them into the pitcher. After dropping a number of stones, the water level in the jar roses high enough to reach. Then, the crow drank water. Thus the crow saved his life by the use of his wisdom.

একটি তৃষ্ণার্ত কাক এবং সামান্য জলসহ একটি কলস

অনুবাদ : একবার একটা কাক খুব তৃষ্ণার্ত হয়ে পড়ল। গ্রীষ্মকাল ছিল এবং আবহাওয়া খুব গরম ছিল। ওই জায়গায় সামান্য পানি ছিল। কাক এদিক ওদিক উড়ে পানি খুঁজতে থাকে। কিন্তু কোথাও পানি পাওয়া যায়নি। মনে হয় পানির পিপাসায় মারা যাওয়ার কথা। কিন্তু তাতে সে মনোবল হারায়নি।

কাক তার অনুসন্ধান চালিয়ে গেল এবং জল খাওয়ার জন্য একটি কলস পেল। কিন্তু কলসির তলায় সামান্য পানি ছিল। কাক পান করার চেষ্টা করল কিন্তু ব্যর্থ হল। জলের স্তর কাকের ঠোঁট পর্যন্ত পৌঁছানোর জন্য অনেক দূরে ছিল। এটি একটি ভাল পরিকল্পনা খুঁজে বের করার চেষ্টা করল।

A liar shepherd completing story

Ans. Once upon a time there was a shepherd in a village. He used to tend a flock of sheep in a nearby field. There was a thick forest next to the field. The shepherd was a great liar. He always got pleasure to cheat people with his lies. While tending sheep in the field, he often cried out, “Wolf, Wolf, help, help!”

Hearing his shouting the farmers usually left their work and rushed to him in order to save him. But the boy laughed and got pleasure thinking that the farmers were foolish.

One day a wolf really came. The boy now cried aloud to attract the farmers. He cried and cried for help. No farmer responded to his crying because they thought that the shepherd was making fun with them. So, they did not come to help the boy. The wolf found the cowboy alone and killed him. After eating his flesh it went away. The liar shepherd was thus punished for his lie.

মিথ্যাবাদি রাখালের পরিণতি

অনুবাদ : একদা এক গ্রামে এক রাখাল ছিল। তিনি পাশের মাঠে ভেড়ার পাল চরাতেন। মাঠের পাশেই ছিল ঘন জঙ্গল। রাখাল বড় মিথ্যাবাদী ছিল। তিনি সবসময় তার মিথ্যা দিয়ে মানুষকে ঠকিয়ে আনন্দ পেতেন। মাঠে ভেড়া চড়ার সময়, তিনি প্রায়ই চিৎকার করে বলতেন, “নেকড়ে, নেকড়ে, সাহায্য, সাহায্য!”

তার চিৎকার শুনে কৃষকরা সাধারণত তাদের কাজ ছেড়ে তাকে বাঁচানোর জন্য তার কাছে ছুটে যেত। কিন্তু কৃষকরা বোকা ভেবে ছেলেটি হেসে আনন্দ পেল।

একদিন সত্যি সত্যি একটা নেকড়ে এলো। ছেলেটি এখন কৃষকদের আকৃষ্ট করার জন্য জোরে জোরে কেঁদে উঠল। তিনি কাঁদলেন এবং সাহায্যের জন্য চিৎকার করলেন। কোন কৃষক তার কান্নার জবাব দেয়নি কারণ তারা ভেবেছিল যে রাখাল তাদের সাথে মজা করছে। তাই, তারা ছেলেটিকে সাহায্য করতে আসেনি। নেকড়ে কাউবয়কে একা পেয়ে মেরে ফেলল। তার মাংস খেয়ে তা চলে গেল। মিথ্যাবাদী রাখালকে এইভাবে তার মিথ্যাচারের জন্য শাস্তি দেওয়া হয়েছিল।

A golden goose completing story

Ans. Once a farmer had a goose. It used to lay a golden egg every day. He thought, “This goose will make me rich!” After that, the farmer checked the straw every day. He found more golden eggs! Now the farmer spent most of his time just waiting and dreaming by the straw near the goose. He didn’t spend time with his wife and children. He could think about was becoming the richest man in the world.

One day the farmer was getting impatient again, and his greedy thoughts wouldn’t go away. “I’ll be rich, rich, RICH!” Why doesn’t this silly goose lay another egg? “Why don’t I cut open the goose and just take all the eggs out of her?” he thought. So, without thinking, he killed the goose and looked inside.

When he looked inside there were no eggs! And now that the goose was dead, there would be no more golden eggs at all! Poor goose! Poor farmer! The farmer had left his farm work so long, just waiting for the golden eggs, his farm came to ruin and he had to spend all the money from the golden eggs just to get back to where he started from.

Honesty is the best policy completing story

Ans. Once upon a time there was a poor farmer in a village. Though he was poor, he was very honest. One day he was going to his land. On his way to the land he found a purse. He opened the purse and found that it was full of gold.

The farmer returned home with the purse and asked his wife what he should do. His wife suggested him to sell the gold but he did not agree with his wife. His wife became angry and left the place.

The farmer decided to return the purse to its real owner but he did not know the address of the owner. He was intelligent. He emptied the purse and searched far and wide to find out the address of the owner. Fortunately, he found the address. He handed over the purse to the owner. The owner of the purse became very happy and offered some money to the farmer. The farmer refused to take money and said that it was his responsibility to do the job and returned home.

সততা সেরা নীতি

অনুবাদ : একদা এক গ্রামে এক দরিদ্র কৃষক ছিল। দরিদ্র হলেও তিনি ছিলেন অত্যন্ত সৎ। একদিন সে তার জমিতে যাচ্ছিল। যাওয়ার পথে তিনি একটি ব্যাগ দেখতে পান। ব্যাগটা খুলে দেখলেন তাতে সোনা ভর্তি।

কৃষক ব্যগ নিয়ে বাড়ি ফিরে তার স্ত্রীকে জিজ্ঞেস করল তার কি করা উচিত। তার স্ত্রী তাকে সোনা বিক্রি করার পরামর্শ দিলেও সে তার স্ত্রীর সাথে রাজি হয়নি। এতে তার স্ত্রী রাগান্বিত হয়ে স্থান ত্যাগ করেন।

কৃষক ব্যাগটি তার আসল মালিকের কাছে ফেরত দেওয়ার সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছিল কিন্তু সে মালিকের ঠিকানা জানত না। তিনি বুদ্ধিমান ছিলেন। পার্সটা খালি করে সে মালিকের ঠিকানা খুঁজে বের করার জন্য দূর-দূরান্তে খোঁজ করল। ভাগ্যক্রমে, তিনি ঠিকানা খুঁজে পেয়েছেন। ব্যাগটা মালিকের হাতে তুলে দেন। পার্সের মালিক খুব খুশি হলেন এবং কৃষককে কিছু টাকা দিলেন। কৃষক 

Unity is strength completing story

Ans. Once there lived an old man in a village. He had three sons. They used to quarrel with one another. The old man was anxious of this matter. He was always in a gloomy mood. He thought how to stop the quarrel. The old man was intelligent. One day he found out a way to stop the quarrel. He made a plan.

He told his elder son to bring some sticks and to tie the sticks in a bundle. He told him to break the bundle. The elder son could not break the bundle. The same thing happened to the other two brothers.
Then the old man then untied the bundle and gave his each son a stick separately to break. All of them broke the sticks.

Then the old man said, “My boys, you are like the sticks. When the sticks were together, you were not able to break them but when they were separated, you could break them easily. Now if you continue your quarrel, everyone will get chance to harm you. Remember, unity is strength.

একতাই বল (বাংলা অনুবাদ)

অনুবাদ : একদা এক গ্রামে এক বৃদ্ধ বাস করতেন। তার তিন ছেলে ছিল। তারা একে অপরের সাথে ঝগড়া করত। বিষয়টি নিয়ে বৃদ্ধ উদ্বিগ্ন হয়ে পড়েন। তিনি সর্বদা বিষণ্ণ মেজাজে ছিলেন। তিনি ভাবলেন কিভাবে ঝগড়া থামানো যায়। বৃদ্ধ বুদ্ধিমান ছিলেন। একদিন ঝগড়া থামানোর উপায় বের করলেন। তিনি একটা পরিকল্পনা করলেন।

তিনি তার বড় ছেলেকে বললেন কিছু লাঠি আনতে এবং লাঠিগুলো একটি বান্ডিলে বেঁধে দিতে। তিনি তাকে বান্ডিল ভাঙতে বলেন। বড় ছেলে বান্ডিল ভাঙতে পারেনি। অন্য দুই ভাইয়ের ক্ষেত্রেও একই ঘটনা ঘটেছে। তারপর বৃদ্ধ লোকটি বান্ডিলটি খুলে ফেললেন এবং তার প্রতিটি ছেলেকে আলাদা করে লাঠি দিলেন ভাঙার জন্য। সবাই লাঠিটি ভেঙে দিল।

তখন বৃদ্ধ লোকটি বলল, “বাছারা, তোমরা লাঠির মতো। যখন লাঠিগুলো একত্রে ছিল, তখন তোমরা সেগুলো ভাঙতে পারলে না, কিন্তু যখন সেগুলো আলাদা হয়ে যায়, তখন তোমরা সেগুলোকে সহজেই ভাঙতে পারলে। এখন ঝগড়া চালিয়ে গেলে সবাই তোমার ক্ষতি করার সুযোগ পাবে। মনে রাখবে, ঐক্যই শক্তি।

A friend in need is a friend indeed completing story

Ans. Once there were two friends living in the same village. They loved each other very much. The village people took it as a model. One day two friends were going through a dense forest. When they reached the middle of the forest, suddenly they saw a bear coming towards them. Both of them became frightened. One of the friends knew how to climb up a tree but the other was unable to do it. The first friend quickly climbed up a tree. He did not think about the safety of his friend.

The other friend became very upset. But he did not lose heart. He was intelligent. He knew that a bear did not touch any dead body. So, he made a plan. He lay on the ground just like a dead man. The bear came and smelt his ear and nose. It thought that he was dead. It left the place without doing any harm. Seeing his friend got down from the tree. He thought the bear might tell his friend something important. So he asked his friend what the bear whispered into his ears.

The first friend wanted to give his friend a good lesson. So, he said to his friend that the bear had whispered to him, “A friend in need is a friend indeed.”

বিপদের বন্ধুই প্রকৃত বন্ধু

অনুবাদ : একসময় একই গ্রামে দুই বন্ধু থাকত। তারা একে অপরকে খুব ভালবাসত। গ্রামের মানুষ এটিকে আদর্শ হিসেবে নিয়েছিল। একদিন দুই বন্ধু এক ঘন জঙ্গলের মধ্য দিয়ে যাচ্ছিল। যখন তারা বনের মাঝখানে পৌঁছল, হঠাৎ তারা দেখতে পেল একটি ভালুক তাদের দিকে এগিয়ে আসছে। দুজনেই আতঙ্কিত হয়ে পড়ল। বন্ধুদের একজন জানত কিভাবে গাছে উঠতে হয় কিন্তু অন্যজন তা করতে পারত না। প্রথম বন্ধু দ্রুত একটা গাছে উঠে গেল। সে তার বন্ধুর নিরাপত্তার কথা ভাবল না।

অন্য বন্ধুর খুব মন খারাপ হয়ে গেল। তবে তিনি মনোবল হারাননি। তিনি বুদ্ধিমান ছিলেন। তিনি জানতেন ভাল্লুক কোনো মৃতদেহ স্পর্শ করে না। সুতরাং, তিনি একটি পরিকল্পনা করলেন। তিনি মৃত মানুষের মত মাটিতে শুয়ে পড়লেন। ভালুক এসে তার কান ও নাক শুকে দেখল। মনে হয়েছিল সে মারা গেছে। ভাল্লুকটি কোনো ক্ষতি না করেই জায়গা ছেড়ে চলে গেল।

Who is to bell the cat completing story

Ans. There was an old house in a village. A number of Mice lived in the house. They were doing a lot of mischief there. The master of the house was very annoyed and made a plan. He brought a cat. As a result, the mice could not come out of their holes.

One day all the mice sat together in order to find a way out. Different mice gave different suggestions. At last a young mouse wanted to present a proposal. All the mice asked him to make his proposal. Then the young mouse said, “If we tie a bell around the cat’s neck we’ll be in a position to understand when the cat is coming.

Before its coming, we’ll be able to hide. All the mice praised the proposal except the old one. He stood up and said, “the proposal is quite good, but who’ll bell the cat?” Hearing this, all the mice began to look at one another and felt disappointed. Finding no solution, the mice eventually migrated to another place.

বিরালের গলায় ঘণ্টা বাঁধবে কে?

অনুবাদ : এক গ্রামে একটা পুরনো বাড়ি ছিল। বাড়িতে বেশ কিছু ইঁদুর বাস করত। সেখানে তারা অনেক দুষ্টুমি করছিল। বাড়ির কর্তা খুব বিরক্ত হয়ে একটা পরিকল্পনা করলেন। তিনি একটি বিড়াল নিয়ে আসেন। ফলে ইঁদুরগুলো তাদের গর্ত থেকে বের হতে পারছিল না।
একদিন সব ইঁদুর একসাথে বসে পথ খুঁজে বের করলো। বিভিন্ন ইঁদুর বিভিন্ন পরামর্শ দিল। অবশেষে একটি তরুণ ইঁদুর একটি প্রস্তাব পেশ করতে চাইল। সমস্ত ইঁদুর তাকে তার প্রস্তাব দিতে বলল।

তখন ইঁদুরটি বলল, “আমরা যদি বিড়ালের গলায় ঘণ্টা বেঁধে রাখি তাহলে আমরা বুঝতে পারব কখন বিড়াল আসবে। আসার আগে, আমরা লুকিয়ে থাকতে পারব। অন্য সব ইঁদুর প্রস্তাবের প্রশংসা করল। বৃদ্ধ ইঁদুরটি উঠে দাঁড়িয়ে বললেন, “প্রস্তাবটা বেশ ভালো, কিন্তু বিড়ালকে ঘণ্টা দেবে কে?” একথা শুনে সব ইঁদুর একে অপরের দিকে তাকাতে লাগল এবং হতাশ হয়ে পড়ল। কোনো সমাধান না পেয়ে অবশেষে ইঁদুরগুলো চলে গেল অন্য জায়গায়।

Grapes are sour completing story

Ans. Once a hungry fox was searching for food in the forest. After a while he came to a vineyard. He was very tempted at the sight of the ripe grapes. The grapes were hanging very high. He wished to have a delicious meal of the ripe grapes. He could not resist his temptation to have taste of the ripe grapes. So he jumped and jumped to reach the grapes. But the bunches of the ripe grapes were too high for the fox to reach.

The fox tried again and again, but failed each time. The poor fox became very tired as he repeatedly and ceaselessly jumped to reach the bunches of the ripe grapes. He took some rest and then tried his best again but in vain. At last, he could understand that there was no hope of getting the grapes. So he went away dejectedly and broken heartedly. He consoled himself by murmuring “The grapes are sour. So do not wish to eat them.”

আঙ্গুর ফল টক

অনুবাদ : একবার এক ক্ষুধার্ত শিয়াল বনে খাবার খুঁজছিল। কিছুক্ষণ পর সে একটি আঙ্গুর ক্ষেতে এল। পাকা আঙ্গুর দেখে তার খুব লোভ হল। আঙুরগুলো অনেক উঁচুতে ঝুলছিল। সে পাকা আঙ্গুরের সুস্বাদু খাবারটি খেতে চাইল। পাকা আঙ্গুরের স্বাদ নেওয়ার লোভ সে সামলাতে পারল না। তাই সে লাফিয়ে লাফিয়ে আঙ্গুরের কাছে পৌঁছল। কিন্তু পাকা আঙ্গুরের থোকা শেয়ালের নাগালের পক্ষে খুব দূরে ছিল। শেয়াল বারবার চেষ্টা করল, কিন্তু প্রতিবারই ব্যর্থ হল।

অসহায় শিয়াল খুব ক্লান্ত হয়ে পড়ল কারণ সে বারবার এবং অবিরাম লাফ দিয়ে পাকা আঙ্গুরের গুচ্ছগুলিতে পৌঁছতে লাগল। সে কিছুটা বিশ্রাম নিয়েছিলেন এবং তারপর আবার তার যথাসাধ্য চেষ্টা করল কিন্তু ব্যর্থ হল। শেষপর্যন্ত সে বুঝতে পারলেন, আঙুর পাবার আশা নেই। তাই সে হতাশা ও ভগ্নহৃদয়ে চলে গেল। সে বিড়বিড় করে নিজেকে সান্ত্বনা দিল “আঙ্গুরগুলো টক। তাই খেতে ইচ্ছে করে না।”
